The Wellington Arms is a pub, hotel and functions venue, located within the beautiful Wellington Estate, currently closed and undergoing an extensive refurb and refit, ready to open on Tuesday 27th November, with stunning hotel rooms to launch in early 2019.
The new Wellington Arms in Hampshire, will be a family-friendly pub, offering the perfect combination of a traditional English pub, combined with relaxed, modern design. Open 7 days a week, we’ll be the perfect location for catching up with friends over a G&T (or two!), enjoying delicious food to celebrate a special occasion with loved ones or a place to recharge after a long walk around the Wellington Country Park.
As of 2018, The Wellington Arms is part of the Red Mist Leisure family; An award-winning company who are truly passionate about pubs and own eight other highly commended pubs and inns across Surrey and Hampshire.
Throughout all our pubs, we strive to deliver an authentic and genuine pub experience, that Great Britain is so famous for across the globe.
We are dedicated to sourcing from local suppliers; from prime cuts of meat from British farmers, to bread from the nearby bakery and craft ales from local breweries, including our own microbrewery in Surrey. We believe in using only sustainable ingredients that has travelled as little distance as possible to reach our pub kitchens.
The happiness of our staff and enjoyment of our customers is what’s most important to us and we believe in rewarding loyalty and dedication shown by both (check out our Red Card Rewards scheme).

We are currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment throughout the entire building, which will see the additional of a much larger dining/restaurant area and whole new design and look inside. The Wellington Arms will be designed with modern furnishings but will still keep the traditional character and historic elements of the building, including the 18th century ice house.
Our bar and dining area will be the perfect spot for family meals, catching up with friends over drinks or business meetings, with furnishings to resemble a traditional English hunting lodge and cosy fires to warm up next to during the winter.
The function room will be a light and spacious space, which can be adapted for any occasion; whether it be a floral summer wedding, a corporate event where you can host your clients or a fun festive celebration.
We pride ourselves on offering a family-friendly venue, where you can all take time out to relax and catch up. Our garden area will be a bustling hub in the warmer months, with plenty of space to bask in the sun over a refreshing G&T or craft beer without having to worry about the safety of your little ones or four legged friends
Absolutely! We are looking for keen, motivated people to join the Red Mist family at The Wellington Arms. We offer exciting career opportunities to anyone with or looking for experience in the pub, hotel and industry, with extensive training and staff benefits available, as well as the chance to progress within an expanding company.
Roles will range from chefs, waiting and bar staff to more senior opportunities in hotel, events and pub management.

As most people have experienced, sometimes building works can be a little unpredictable and things can crop up… Therefore, we plan to start taking bookings for the pub and function room in the late summer when we have a confirmed opening date and bookings for hotel rooms from December 2018.

We take great pride in using local suppliers who offer a high quality service and supply fresh, British ingredients. We like to develop a close relationship with our suppliers and work closely alongside them, to ensure our customers are being offered the finest produce this country has to provide.
